WHAT IS "MY BLESSING CIRCLE?"

My Blessing Circle is based upon the Buddhist concept of healing the planet by sending out thoughts of “loving kindness” to strangers. When sending a blessing, you will see a photo of a randomly-selected recipient while you read to them their randomly-selected kindness blessing. Of course, NOTHING IN THE UNIVERSE IS TRULY RANDOM! Your intention should not be to "project a blessing" on them, but to "make space for the Universe" to flow its gifts upon you both. The service is free, and should you join us, your identifying information is never shared or sold.

WHY SHOULD I JOIN "MY BLESSING CIRCLE?"

As a member, your photo is part of the pool of people randomly-selected to receive blessings from others in the larger community. In addition, you can create your own personal "blessing circle" of friends (or members of your spiritual community or church, etc.), and you can send kind healing thoughts to other members and to troubled places in today’s news. You can join the community by uploading a photo and selecting a screen name that others will see when they send you a blessing thought. Soon, you will be able to sign-up to (1) have us send to you via email or text, a photo of a person to bless with a pre-selected blessing, or (2) have YOUR PHOTO included in the pool of those randomly-selected for inclusion in our INSTRAGRAM feed.

In this world there are three things of value for one who gives: Before giving, the mind of the giver is happy. While giving, the mind of the giver is made peaceful. And having given, the mind of the giver is uplifted. -- -- The Buddha, Anuguttara Nikaya 3.6.37

For when I bless, I meet my own unobstructed self, which is a blessing for me.  -- David Spangler, Blessing: The Art and Practice

We ourselves are never the bestower (of a blessing) but simply the joyful witness of life's abundance. -- Pierre Pradervand, The Gentle Art of Blessing
